Independent Candidate Launches Fresh Campaign for Corby’s Kingswood Ward

I’m grateful to the team at the paper for offering early coverage and for giving space to independent voices in Corby. Too often, we assume local politics only happens inside party structures—but that isn’t the only way to step forward and serve.

I’m running as a truly independent candidate—no party, no outside pressure. Just a belief that things can be done better when councillors are visible, responsive, and grounded in the needs of the people they represent.

It’s encouraging to see independent candidates starting to be taken seriously—not just as protest votes, but as thoughtful, capable alternatives. This article is one small sign of that.
